Hotel De Rijper Eilanden
"De Rijper Eilanden” is an example of an architecture characteristic to the area yet striking in appearance.
Spacious and tastefully furnished, the hotel has 53 rooms, a large bar with lounge, a dining area and a theatre with bar. The rooms are 35 and 40 m2, all with suite bathroom, telephone, TV, internet connection.

The village
As your walk through de Rijp with its splendidly restored 17th century houses, the history of centuries is still most evident. The Town Hall with its weighing house, the great Gothic church, the farmhouses and wooden townhouses all bear witness to the style and glory of the past of this village made rich by 17th century fishing and whaling activity.

Various art exhibitions in galleries and homes, a gold and silversmith and at least ten sculptors living and working here, de Rijp also has a thriving contemporary role. The neighbouring Eilandspolder nature reserve can be discovered on foot, by bicycle or boat.

Amsterdam 30 km, Alkmaar 15 km, Volendam 17 km. To get to ‘’ De Rijper Eilanden’’ by car or coach: Motorway A7 – exit 6.
Follow signs for Midden-Beemster/Alkmaar, along N244. At the first traffic lights on the N 244, after 5 km, turn left. ( The hotel is on the corner). Drive over bridge into hotel grounds.
Public transport: Connexxion bus number 100 from Amsterdam Central Station.
The old centre just a short walk from the hotel.
