A unique conversion of wooden granary to a spacious hotel. Situated on an attractive canal in the rural village of Kwadijk, with easy acces to Amsterdam ( 22 km via A8/ A7 ), Volendam ( 8 km ) and Alkmaar ( 21 km ).
The hotel has its own minibus equipped to carry 4 passengers in wheelchairs and 3 ambulant passengers besides the driver. It can be used for excursions as well as transfers.
Trips can also be made in the hotel’s 14 metre long wheelchair accessible canal cruise boat.
Hotel De Purmer Eend
While the Purmer Eend hotel is not exclusively for people with a handicap, in its reconstruction we have taken into consideration the different problems facing many people wishing to travel on holiday.

A modern fire detection and warning system, wide doorways and corridors, numerous fire exits and wide, shallow stairs contribute to the safety of hotel guests.
Other recreational facilities includes bicycles, canoes, pedaloes, table tennis, billiards, old fashioned bar games and an amphibious truck.
